Futsal is definitely a way of life here...The boys played in their 1st tournament & the rising u14s won their group... Then the U15s boys were schooled in the art of futsal playing up in age against some impressive young 17 years old.
Brazilians are known for their foot skills and ball handling and I am a firm beliver that it is inherited! These boys were so quick on the ball and so in control of their passing it was a sight to see. You have to wonder if any of these Brazilian boys we played against could be national team
material!
The best part of the night was two fold.., watching the brazilians boys & our boys talk trade for things like shin guards, wrist bands, shirts. Through sign language they were able to understand each other and develop a kinship on & off the court.
